A couple weeks ago, I put out the recipe for Dole’s version of Dole Whip. It’s their version of the sweet treat, which was originally created for Disney. But, in typical theme park fashion, the version released to the public is just different enough that it never seems quite the same as what you would get at the theme parks, which encourages you to always want the “real thing” instead.

Well, Disney’s version has a recipe, and you can make it too.

It still won’t be quite the same, I don’t think, unless you have a soft-serve machine. The original Dole Whip was also made using a powdered mix, which would be pretty different, and is a dairy-free recipe. The one I have here isn’t dairy-free unless you use dairy-free ice cream, though.

Still, it’s close enough to me and many others, so it’s worth a try. Don’t forget, this is also just the base pineapple version! Disney also made orange and strawberry, both of which would be delicious to make instead. All you really need is to swap the frozen fruit, so it’s easy enough to change up.

Equipment
- Blender
Ingredients
- 1 Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream Non-Dairy for the most authentic recipe
- 4 Oz Pineapple Juice
- 2 Cups Frozen Pineapple Chunks
Instructions
- Put everything in a blender and blend it until it's smooth. If it's too thick, add a bit more pineapple juice.
