In my flurry of making recipes from the Elder Scrolls Cookbook volume 2, I made some pear scones that were quite tasty. But, whens hopping for all the ingredients I needed, I didn’t write down how many pears I needed, so I ended up buying too many.

Well, too much of a good thing is just more good things, right? I saved the pears and decided to make something tasty out of them. In this case, a pear sauce is just right. It’s super simple to make, flavorful with a dash of pie spice mix, and there’s no added sugar because of how sweet the pears are naturally.

I only have one tip to make this recipe easier, and that’s to let the cooked pears cool off a little bit before you blend them into sauce. An immersion blender won’t have much trouble, but if you use a full blender, you risk some hot sauce flying everywhere, and that’s just unpleasant. Otherwise, it’s all super simple!
