Have you ever wanted to make a dessert recipe, only to find that it calls for condensed milk, and you just don’t have any on hand? It happens to me all the time. So I figured, why not figure out how to make it on my own? Surely it has to be doable.
As it turns out, I was right; not only is it doable, it’s pretty dang easy.
I love this recipe, because it opens up so many other recipes you can make, without needing to keep a can of condensed milk around. You do need to keep dry milk powder around, but that’s a lot longer-lasting than a partial can of condensed milk, and you don’t need to feel bad about not using a full can.
All you need to make your own condensed milk is about five minutes, a few ingredients, and a blender. That’s it! Then, a whole new world of desserts are open to you.
