  • Sauce Pan
  • Milk Frother
  • Whisk

Ingredients

For the Syrup

  • ½ Cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ Cup Water
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ Tsp Almond Extract

For the Latte

  • ¾ Cup Milk
  • ¾ Cup Coffee Brewed strong.

Instructions

  • In your sauce pan, over medium heat, add the water and brown sugar. Whisk this as it heats to dissolve and prevent the sugar from burning. Simmer it for around 5 minutes to thicken it slightly.
½ Cup Brown Sugar, ½ Cup Water
  • Once thickened to a light syrup consistency, turn off the heat and add the extracts, whisking to mix well. This syrup can be stored in a jar in the fridge for quite a long time, and used for multiple drinks.
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract, ¼ Tsp Almond Extract
  • Brew your coffee and pour it in a cup. Add 2-3 tablespoons of the syrup, depending on how sweet you want the drink to be. Feel free to adjust to your liking!
    ¾ Cup Coffee
  • For an iced latte, chill the syrup-infused coffee with ice and add the milk. For a hot latte, heat the milk to the point of steaming and add it to the coffee. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles for a little flair and enjoy!
