Fresh 3-Ingredient Strawberry Lemonade

A super simple lemonade recipe made with fresh fruit.

  • Pitcher
  • Rubber Spatula
  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 3 Cups Water
  • 1 Lb Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice About 5 large lemons juiced.

Instructions

  • Pour one cup of water and your sugar into your sauce pan. Bring it to a simmer and heat for about 3-4 minutes while the sugar dissolves and it thickens. This makes a simple syrup.
  • Using a blender, puree your strawberries. Pour the puree through a strainer to remove bits of pulp and seeds. You can add it directly to your pitcher. I found using the rubber spatula to work it through the strainer was essential.
  • Add the lemon juice, simple syrup, and remaining water to the strawberry puree in the pitcher. Stir to combine. Add more water if you want to make the beverage last a little longer.
  • Chill, or serve immediately over ice. I like to garnish with some chopped frozen strawberries as well!
