Chocolate Oatmeal Treat

A soft and rich flavored oatmeal with whatever mix-ins you desire.

  • 10 oz. Ramekin
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Plain Oatmeal Quick-cook works best in my opinion but any oatmeal works; choose according to your texture preference.
  • 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar Add a little less if you want something less sweet.
  • ½ Tsp Baking Powder
  • ¼ Tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp Chopped Pecans Or another mix-in of your preference.
  • 3 Tbsp Chocolate Chips Again, add a bit less if you prefer.
  • ½ Cup Milk I use almond milk.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375℉ and lightly grease your 10 oz. ramekin.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix together the oats, cocoa powder, brown sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon. Add in the pecans and chocolate chips, and stir everything to coat it all.
  • Add in the milk and stir to mix it together.
  • Pour this mixture into your ramekin and bake for 25 minutes. When done, let it cool for at least 5-10 minutes so you don't burn yourself. Enjoy!
