Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Cooling Rack
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Cookie Scoop
  • Silicone Baking Mat

Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Butter Softened
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheese I used half cheddar, half monterey jack.
  • 1 Cup Rice Krispies
  • ¼ Tsp Garlic Powder
  • ¼ Tsp Onion Powder
  • ¼ Tsp Salt
  • ¼ Tsp Parsley
  • ½ Tsp Chives

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325℉. Line your baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
  • Mix all of the spices together and set them aside.
¼ Tsp Garlic Powder, ¼ Tsp Onion Powder, ¼ Tsp Salt, ¼ Tsp Parsley, ½ Tsp Chives
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, flour, cheese, cereal, and spices. I found it best to mix by hand, to get it thoroughly combined without crushing the cereal too much. You'll end up with a fairly uniform ball of dough.
½ Cup Butter, 1 Cup Flour, 1 Cup Shredded Cheese, 1 Cup Rice Krispies
  • Scoop and roll out ball of dough. My batch made 17 cookies, but you can get between 15-20 depending on the size of your portions.
  • Flatten each cookie ball with fork (wet the fork to keep the dough from sticking to it, if that happens).
  • Bake the cookies until lightly browned, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove the cookies from the oven, transfer them to a cooling rack, and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
