Brownies with Cottage Cheese

An odd recipe using cottage cheese as an ingredient in brownies
Servings 1 9x9" Pan
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 25 minutes
Total Time 35 minutes

Equipment

  • 9x9" Baking Dish
  • Parchment Paper
  • Food Processor
  • Rubber Spatula
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

  • ¾ Cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • ½ Cup Cocoa Powder
  • ½ Tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ Cup Chocolate Chips Melted
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Cottage Cheese
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Egg Room Temperature
  • ¼ Cup Butter Melted
  • ¾ Cup Milk
  • Cup Mini Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350℉. Line your baking dish with parchment paper so you can remove your brownies easily later.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and baking soda. Make a well in the center of it and set it aside.
  • In a food processor, blend up the cottage cheese, melted chocolate, melted butter, vanilla, egg, milk, cocoa powder, and sugar. You want this to turn into a smooth batter so blend it until it's fully combined.
  • Scrape this wet mixture out of the food processor and into the dry bowl and mix it until it just combines. Fold in the bonus chocolate chips and transfer the batter to the baking dish.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, using the toothpick test to make sure it's done. Let it cool and then cut and eat.
