Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
Crush or food process the freeze-dried strawberries into a powder.
1 Oz. Freeze-Dried Strawberries
In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, vanilla, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and cardamom. Stir until it's well combined.
¾ Cup Plain or Vanilla Yogurt, 2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract, 1 Tsp Lemon Zest, ¼ Tsp Ground Black Pepper, ⅛ Tsp Ground Cardamon, ⅛ Tsp Salt
Add your chopped fresh berries and stir to coat them well.
3 Cups Strawberries
Transfer coated berries to your parchment paper. Transfer individually with a fork to avoid letting them freeze together, or don't worry about it if you're fine breaking it up later.
Coat the berries with your powdered strawberry for the final topping and look.
Freeze this all for at least 2 hours, or overnight. When ready to enjoy, remove from the freezer and let sit for 5-10 minutes so they're softer and more pleasant to eat.
